We went to see the live show in London and it was great to see the latest designs and famous brands as well as talking to different people about design and programs. It was very interesting and beneficial for us as first year students in Interior Architecture.

Scale Model

This is a scale model in one of the flats in Park Hill in Sheffield. We  had to pick a 'client' and furnish the flat according to our client's profession, hobbies and lifestyle, so it would reflect his/her personality and character.

V&A Museum, London (personal photos)

The Victoria and Albert Museum (often abbreviated as the V&A), set in the South Kensington  district of The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, London, UK, is the world's largest museum of decorative arts and design, housing a permanent collection of over 4.5 million objects. Named after Prince Albert and Queen Victoria, it was founded in 1852, and has since grown to now cover 12.5 acres (51,000 m2) and 145 galleries. Its collection spans 5,000 years of art, from ancient times to the present day, in virtually every medium, from the cultures of Europe, North America, Asia and North Africa.

The Central (personal photos)

I had to research some of the listed buildings in the area and find out to what extent they could be refurbished and changed.

The Central is a grade II listed building. It was built in 1865 as a pub. Even today we can see some of the original features inside as well as outside. The manager was very helpful allowing me to take some images during a process of renovation. Dave explained that he respects the originality of the building and he is going to try to keep as much of it and adjust it to client's needs and public places regulations.
